400 MG off-river reservoir. 8MGD WTP with 2000m3 clear water well, 11km Transmission mains, 6000m3 Reservoir, 242km Distribution Pipeline, 2Nos 250m3/20m Elevated concrete water tanks and construction of 2units 4-storey 2-bedroom Staff Residential Buildings
Actual Services Provided
Design Review and Construction Supervision of the following:
- 36,000m3/day treatment plant to cater for 2041 water demand – comprising water intake for 5 low lift pumps, 3 Clari-flocculators, 8 compartment rapid sand filters, 2000m3 clear water well, 5 high lift pumps, 2no. 1.8MVA transformers and one storey technical/ plant control building.
- 212km of pipe lines in Akim Oda with diameters between 110mm to 630mm distribution network
- 18km of pipe lines in Akim Manso 110mm to 200mm distribution network
- 12km of pipe lines in Akim Amantem with diameters between 110mm to 630mm distribution network
- 11km DN600 pumping mains (DI pipe) and 33.7km gravity mains lines to Akwatia (DI pipe)
- Approx. 500 isolation valves and approx. 150 air valves wash out and fire hydrants.
- 2no. 250m3, 20m high elevated concrete water tanks.
- District Metering Areas with the supply and installation of bulk meters
- District Offices, Workshops and Staff Residential buildings
